Food is actually quite cheap in Japan.... I spend way more on crappy food here than there..

I paid something ridiculous like 60 bucks tax to fly from Sydney to Auckland one way! (3 hour flight).

LOL let me revise, I took 4 flights total and I paid about $150. 2 of the flights were business class.

I paid $120 for a rail pass that got me $500+ train rides.

Sigh. My trip to NZ was 120 bucks tax (business - frequent flyer points).

I don't even want to go into how much it cost to stay at the hotel lol.
